*Is the Apple name going down Hill with iphone contract pricing?

Most of thet hreads I read, people are upset about the price gouging going on with the new iphone plans. What are your thoughts on this?

Im not so worried about the pricing, more the fact that I have to start my 18 months again...

I bought the phone in store, I own it! Why do I have to pay O2 again for it!?

As a customer of American cellular companies, allow me to put your fear to rest that your getting screwed no matter where you go.

Surprisingly, the iPhone on AT&T with contract is essentially identical to there biggest competitor Verizon. Not to mention the phone is a dozen times better.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419.3)

I think that more of the pricing on the phones is due to the fact that you have multiple companies trying to make money off of the device.

thinking the same thing....
I third that, all of these threads are starting to seem pointless.

And Apple doesn't have much control over the plan pricing, that is mostly the carrier's choice. And I don't see it hurting Apple's name at all.

And please, wasteland this thread.

The rising cost of gas is the cause of it all
