Has anyone noticed if the Apple Stores are stocking the Mac Mini with higher storage options? The local Apple Store told me they only stock the basic models. I wanted a 24gb/1T option but the online wait is already mid December.

Is the Apple Store stocking the Mac Mini in higher storage configurations?

A quick check on the Apple app shows the Austin Texas store has base and 16/512 configurations in stock. Normally Apple will stock the base model and then several higher models. I only see the base model and this one higher model. It could be because they are sold out or could be because it’s new.
If you look up the iPhone like you’re going to buy it on the Apple app, it will suggest similar models that are available if the one you’re looking for is not in stock. Apparently it doesn’t do that with Macs.
I know there was a Mac app where you can search what is in stock, but I can’t remember the name.
