Anyone using the Ultra for sleep tracking? What’s your experience for comfort over size and weight?

I’ve worn it most nights since getting it, and it’s size has not been an issue.
I think the key is to use a band you are comfortable in.

No different than my S7 Ti.

I think the new bands are fantastically comfortable, and am pleasantly surprised by the ocean.
I have the Green Alpine Loop. I’m still getting used to it but I may buy the Ocean band as that seemed more comfortable in store, they just did not have it in stock.

I'm normally a two watch guy, one for sleep tracking and due to the longer battery life I did consider using the Ultra for both with a charge in the morning when needed. But I'm worried I'll knock it if I get up in the night or worse scrape the edges on my wife.

So I'm sticking to two watches and the Ultra goes on the small charging stand overnight.

Don’t notice it at all. Very comfortable to sleep with. Used the ocean band and the alpine one and both were fine. Slept with the series’s watches as well but never used those for sleep tracking, never noticed those either.

Battery life is great with sleep tracking though on the ultra, only lose about 7% overnight.

I’ve had absolutely no difficult sleeping with it for a week now although last night for the first time I put it on the charger for the night and used my old Series 7 instead… it was absurd how weightless the aluminum 45mm S7 felt after a week of the Ultra. It isn’t the Ultra is heavy or uncomfortable but more how crazy light the S7 is.

I use mine for sleep tracking and I feel it is very comfortable. The key is to use a comfortable band like the braided solo loop. I highly recommend it

It's fine for sleep tracking, but since I upgraded to the Ultra from an Apple Watch Series 7, I decided to just go ahead and keep my Series 7 for sleep tracking, and my Ultra is what I wear during the day. I am very pleasantly surprised by how well they switch over when I change watches. I no longer worry about getting my watch charged up because one is always charging. It sure beats accepting the paltry $175 or whatever Apple was offering me on trade-in. Two Apple watches rocks.

I have slept with an Apple Watch 3 and a garmin fenix 3 then switch to only wearing the AW6 and used Pillow app for sleep info.

No issues with the AW while sleeping I do not even think about it, so glad to ditch the garmin fenix 6 for the ultra.

I'm used to steel mechanical watches with steel link bracelets when sleeping so the Ultra with Ocean band is like there's nothing on my wrist...

I have been wondering how the Ultra would be while sleeping. I have Type 1 Diabetes and rely on my Apple Watch Series 7 basically 24/7 (throw on charger throughout day/night) to get my glucose and be notified during sleep if my glucose is dropping or rising rapidly. My Ultra is arriving 10/4 and looking forward to trying it out.
