Is the Apple Watch worth getting?

I'm reading that a lot of people are having issue with their watches thus far. Are the issues fixable with a few software updates, or should I wait until The next iteration of the Apple Watch releases?

Some minors issues are expected when an new product just rolled out. Just like Siri when it first introduced, many of people are having trouble bring her up and fulfill the correct commend. I have faith that next couple updates would fix these software issues.
