I went in for a demo the other day and was impressed, especially with the spatial videos, spatial photos, and immersive videos and was wondering if the demo they gave me would also be available to try on at home after I bought the headset? Especially those immersive videos, I would like to show my family how cool it is.

For those immersive videos/movies, would it be possible to download them to keep forever? I don't want to be able to only stream them. I want to also own them.

All that they showed you is in the Apple TV app. So you can view those anytime. The immersive videos though can't be downloaded, only streamed. 3D movies can be downloaded but not the 180 degree immersive videos from Apple. There are apps in the App Store though that have 'immersive' videos that can be downloaded.

That's a bummer. I feel that immersive videos and movies are the future. It brings a whole new level to the experience! Especially when watching sports. Even though I'm not a sports fan, the immersiveness of it made me a fan! The feeling and experience is surreal! I hope in the future there will be ways to download or rip immersive videos and keep it on a NAS and stream it to the AVP via Plex or something similar. I don't like how everything is in the "cloud" these days and don't trust it. I rather have my stuff stored locally so that I have complete control over it.

I have given the exact same demo to lots of friends in coffeeshops and such. You can mirror what they are seeing to one of your Apple devices. I don't like cloud **** either that's why I bought the 512GB to keep movies on.

Really? Didn't know you could mirror what they're seeing. How do you do that? I'm going to wait for the AVP2 and in the meantime try to save up for it so that by the time it comes out. I'll have enough, hopefully for the maximum storage capacity 1TB or more.

It's quite simple when you put it into Guest Mode it will ask you if you want to mirror.
