Is the back to school credit usable in all stores?

I know on Apple's site the BTS $100 credit says you can use it on all 4 stores (Mac App, App, iTunes and iBookstore). But is the credit linked to your Apple ID or the store you redeem it on?

As in, if I redeem it on the Mac App store, and still have some balance left over, can I use the rest in another store?

The credit goes to your Apple ID. Your Apple ID can be used in any of those "stores" in any combination you want.

Same goes for Apple iTunes/App Store/iBooks giftcards. They can be redeemed in any of the stores.
