Is the Macbook Pro 13" (late 2016, no touchbar) powerful enough to use with a LG Ultrafine 5K?

Does the Macbook Pro 13" have far better performance or so so?

Ohh, I have the same playing 4k video... does this happen with the Macbook Pro 13" with touchbar as well?
Also, Im not really planning on watching 4K content, just wanna hook up a display without problems to the macbook and use it as an external retina display, without any regards to 4K content...

I think Im gonna have a chat with Apple on monday...

4k video plays fine on my 13" i5 touchbar MBP, but 4k 360 degree virtual videos in youtube (chrome required) run very choppy.. not sure if it's a cpu/gpu power issue or terrible coding for Mac Chrome. I'm waiting for the 5k monitor to arrive and worried that may run slow as well, may upgrade to the 13" i7 with 16GB ram. Still no GPU but hopefully the beefier CPU and extra ram help.

what set up are you using? I don't think a youtube 4k will slow your computer down to a noticeable level. I had a 2015 first-gen MacBook, with mid-tier core-M processor and it plays 4k videos smoothly without any problem.

The non touchbar version with 16gb ram, 2ghz processor... maybe youtube can't handle 4k... or the youtube player?
