That's the glass bezel. Apple has stated that the antennas are integrated into the body.

Neither the retina or old MBP is all glass. They all have that.

I think your right...but the rMBP seems much smaller and less eye-catching..

But the old MBP didn't have one at all

For real, if you have a retina screen and your eyes are gonna focus on that bottom bezel then I don't know what to tell you. You will probably just never be happy.

maybe lol but its weird to put that if its not an antenna...Ill ask the apple store guys tomorrow
