I found an ad for a used G4 450 PowerMac, but the guy says it makes a chirping noise.

1) Is this noise a warning sign?

2) I'm pretty sensitive to sounds, how annoying is this noise?

3) Can it be fixed cheaply?

4) Is $155 a good price for this? (I'd pick it up, so no shipping cost)

Here's his ad.

The Apple Powermac is a 450MHZ processor / 128 MB / 30 gig hard drive / Ethernet
compatible / DVD-ROM drive / lagoon blue minitower exterior. A
Powermac G4, not obsolete in the least.

I am asking for $155. It is a true bargain, and the
only reason I am selling it at this price is because of a
chirping problem that can be fixed for free
at the Apple Store. Otherwise, this computer would be worth much more.
The chirping problem is a common problem with Apple computers that is
even described on the Apple help pages. I have no time to take the
computer to the Apple Store for free tech support, so my loss is your
gain. Without this problem, this great machine would be at least
double the value. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS BARGAIN.

I've seen way better deals than that. And the last time I had a G4 tower with a "chirping" noise the hard drive ended up dying a few days later.

EDIT: If it's blue it's not a G4 tower.

EDIT 2: Pondering this more, this looks shady and I would stay away from it. The hell does this mean:

The chirping problem is a common problem with Apple computers

Anyways, if it's blue that means it was a G3, not a G4, and probably has an early G4 upgrade. This also means you can only put PCI video cards in, which suck with OS X.
