Is the document scanner in notes supposed to be better than others?

I remembered hearing it used ar kit and how people were excited for that and was wondering if it's supposed to be better than other document scanners on the App Store or just the same. I use Dropbox's app to scan my stuff now but am really excited to try out Apple notes' scanner

It allows you to scan without lining up the document from straight overhead, so in that sense, yes, it is better than others I’ve used.
