iPhone 14 Pro Max Is the Dynamic Island functionality still works when on landscape mode?

Sorry if it's sounds like a stupid question but I've been searching all over the web and the answers I found wasn't that clear. Is the Dynamic Island still works when you're on landscape mode? And if so, it will just show on the left side of the phone?

Dynamic island stays on the left of course, but if it’s showing you any activity then when in landscape it doesn’t show anything anymore.

yeah, hopefully they'll solve how to move the physical hole when turning the phone, in the next iteration.
