My watch has been stuck on 9.3 because by the time I finally got around to updating it, there were people talking about how 9.5 was causing issues with a green tint for some watch owners. I can’t stand tints. so I held off but I really want to get updated before WatchOS 10 comes out. If the green tint is still a problem though, I won’t update. If this watch ended up with green tint, I’d be tempted to trade it for the AW9, assuming it doesn’t have the same issue.

That’s what I was afraid of. I just haven’t seen much about it since June. I guess it doesn’t bother people or is seen as a feature now.

It's basically a cosmetic thing, which has low priority on Apples list and it only happens in the control and notification center. People stopped bothering about it and I stopped bothering about it too, especially since I ordered a Series 9.

It also happens on the solar watch faces, at least for me

I’ll be really interested to see if it happens there as well. I’m considering trading my current watch in on a stainless AW9.

Okay, I took the plunch and installed WatchOS 10 RC on my S4. It looks like the green tint is gone.
Battery is draining faster but I guess the watch is still indexing, and I had to reset the watch because my achievement medal (1500 Move streak) did not appear on my iPhone 14 Pro, but it did on the watch.

Yes it's there on my S8 but not as often. Only some windows shows it.
Good to hear they maybe fixed it with WatchOS 10. Really I hope it's finally gone...

@Night Spring It was both a green tint all over the screen

and in few people cases, for instance mine thread - it was partially on screen as well

Edit: I think I am mixing two things...

I’m looking forward to seeing if people picking up the AW9 report it. I was thinking of trading this one in for a stainless AW9 but not if it is having the same issues…
