I'm thinking of buying a new HD camcorder and I have heard great reviews for the HDR-XR500V but then I saw that Sony has an HDR-XR520V. I assumed that because the 520V has a higher model number than the 500V, then it is probably an updated version of the 500V. Am I right about this? Should I buy the 500V or the 520V?
Also, I can't find this anywhere, but would it be possible for me to use my new camcorder for video input into Final Cut but then also use my Blue Snowball Mic for audio? Do these camcorders support live video recording into a Mac?
