General Is the "hide app - no search in spotlight" a feature or a bug?

since upgrading to 6.1.1 i'm unable to launch apps which i have make hidden via SBSettings. Was possible in 5.1.1

Is there another solution so i can adapt my work habit?

Everytime to unhide, launch, hide is not an option.....
