Was wondering if it is possible to buy an iPad in one country but return it in another. I won't bore you with the details but if I purchase an iPad 1 in Australia am I able to return it to an apple store, or more importantly, an apple premium reseller in Europe within 14 days?

A guy at the Apple store talking to my dad apparently said it was possible but I can't find anything within Apple's return policy that stipulates this. I don't really want to return it as such, I want to upgrade to the iPad 2 (paying the extra $). I understand that the warranty on Apple products is worldwide but is the return policy?

Thanks guys.

Forum: "Yes, you can."

Apple rep: "Sorry sir, you can't return it here."

OP: "But I read it online."

I feel bad for customer service representatives.
