iPhone 12 is the Iphone 12 thinner than the Iphone 12 pro?

i held both in my hands and best buy and i noticed that the 12 is a little thinner than the pro. and on apples website it says 11% thinner and 16% lighter

is it true that its thinner? i know that its lighter

No, it’s the same size. Only difference is weight which might have indirectly influenced thinking it’s thinner.
The reference to 11% thinner and 16% lighter is relative to iPhone 11 I believe.

The thinner and lighter claim you quote is in comparison to the iPhone 11, not the 12 Pro.

They have exactly the same dimensions, but the 12 Pro is heavier mostly due to the stainless steel frame (whereas the 12 has a lighter aluminum frame).
