Is the iPhone 4 readily available for walk-in customers?

My wife's contract is up on 7/14 and I plan to go to the At&T store with her to buy a new iPhone 4 16GB. Are the iPhone 4s readily available at this point or is there still a wait and you need to order it?

Depend where you are located, some places have plenty of stock (specially the 16gb)< other places (like Atlanta GA) is still waiting for pre-orders

everywhere i've seen it's still out of stock for the most part. you have to walk-in right after shipments arrive it seems, or get on a wait list.
