I've been wanting to get an iPhone,but then new iPhone 4 is going to be released. So I'm unsure if I should wait for the new iPhone or just get an iPhone 3G.

Is it worth waiting for? Iphone 4 has gyroscope, 4X display, faster processor, new design, better camera and HD recording and 3Gs doesn't have it.

Yea, I don't think it's worth waiting for 2 weeks. Just go get yourself a 3GS or 3G.
