If just the screen, is it extended more on the top or the bottom?

The reason I am asking is because I have trouble reaching the "back" type buttons in the top left corner of the screen on my iPhone 4s and if they raised the screen length at the top this would be made more difficult. If the bottom, this would be great bc then I can enjoy a bigger screen with no change to the reach.

The iPhone 5 is taller than previous versions.

iPhone 5: Height: 4.87 inches

iPhone 4/4S: Height: 4.5 inches (115.2 mm)

the whole device is longer.

A thread for this? I mean honestly...

This was a legit question, I mean really if he cannot reach the back buttons he needs to cancel his order ASAP! No way Apple should put out larger phones when his thumb barely reaches the top now!

The screen is taller but the phone is not. It's magic.

What an idiotic response, there is plenty of room for them to extend the screen within the dimensions of the 4s

What are you talking about?

The phone is taller, but not by as much as the screen got taller.
Do you think the thinness of the phone will make up for the difference in screen height and make it just as easy to reach the top left corner?

According to my calculations:

(((thinness of new phone) - (thinness of old phone) / (height of new phone) - (height of old phone)) / (length of thumb then) - (length of thumb now)) / e=mc2 * x2 - y2 - z2

The answer is : No
