Is the iPhone 5 Made With Liquid Metal?

I have been following Liquid Metal Technologies and, supposedly, Apple had a $20 million investment in this company. The question is, did Apple use Liquid Metal in the iPhone 5?

For those of you who don't know, this is a sincere question. Liquid Metal Technologies is a trademarked company that (simplified) makes a specific kind of metal alloy that is solid but can be molded like plastic.

I feel like this is something that would have been advertised if it was. If not the "Liquidmetal" name itself, then with some kind of buzzword such as "amorphous aluminum."

The keynote was pretty clear... They said it was made entirely out of glass and aluminum.

There was an article a while ago, I believe from the Liquid Metal CEO or something like that, that said they are still a few years out from being able to produce enough consistently to use in devices, although somethings like the SIM ejector for the iPad are made from Liquid Metal.

Once the iPhone is made out of liquid metal, then they will no longer need to ship phones. You will just pay for the upgrade and your phone will morph into the new design (ala T-1000) :D.

It's made of machined aluminum, they said so in the keynote and in their video. I would guess the iPhone 6 will be made of liquid metal.

...so they said but does anyone know for sure? It would be in Apple's best interest to keep their materials science to themselves.

They said, so we know for sure. If it was made of "liquid metal" they would have said that without giving away any science. Let me show you....

"made entirely of glass and liquid metal"
