I heard this is the case if this is true then it would means the 5 is a poor choice since the 800mhz offers better building penetration.
 
The iPhone supports 800mhz and 1900mhz on CDMA.

For LTE you're stuck on Band 25/2500mhz, while the 5C/5S additionally supports Band 26/800mhz.
 
800 I hear is only for voice coverage and 1900mhz is lte.

So the G2 will be able to use 800mhz on lte which all the other phones including the s4 don't do on Sprint.

I'm petty sure 800 is for lte also just like the other two. Tri bands phones are the mega, s4 mini, g2, nexus 5, one max and a possible re released s4

But the sprint iPhone 5 is only 1900 lte so no 800mhz
