Is the iphone 5s faster than the ipad 3?

I can't get this answered in my other post, so forgive me for being redundant, but when I live in Spain (red blooded American here) and watch my slingbox and HBOGo,etc, will the Internet card be faster than the ipad? (We hook it up to our big flat screen) jut curious if the Internet card was faster and the new A7 chip had anything to do with it.

It is faster in every way.
On the same wifi the ipad 3 gets 45 Mbits/s and the 5s gets 90 Mbits/s
Having said that i doubt that it will improve yor experience streaming video from america as the bottlneck will probably be somehere (far far away) outside your house.
