Is the iPhone 6 display made close to the edge of the screen like the new Air?

I was curious because my Air 2 seems a little clearer or at my fingertips than my 6 is it just me?

Yep. Started with the iPhone. iPad just got it.

Display got much closer to the display with the iPhone 5 which made it much nicer to use despite the same ppi. However the 4 and 4S were not bad either.
