I'm thinking of switching to it from sdk 2.2.1, but I don't know if it is stable. Would you recommend it? Any problems so far?
 
It isn't recommended unless you are only using it to play with the new features. You can't release apps targeted at 2.2.1 with it and by the time the 3.0 firmware is out the final release of the SDK will accompany it. Install it alongside the current SDK rather than replace it
