Is the jailbreak for new iOs available?

Hello everyone,
I recently updated my iOs which is the latest version. Is the jailbreak for this available.
I heard that it is not possible to go back to previous version. Is that true?
I am new user of apple. Any info will be helpful.

Are you saying you are on 5.1 ?
What device ?
Only some older devices can currently be JB on 5.1 (tethered for most)

You must have saved the hash and APTicket file for 5.0.1
You must stitch these files to the IPSW to get to 5.0.1
This is not available for iPhone 4S, iPad2 or iPad3
