I've finally tried to do a depth effect wall paper on my lock screen. Only to find in true apple form, I can't get it to work, or the button to not be greyed out. Am I doing something wrong? I have tried with portrait photos, with no widgets etc.

Just varies depending on the pic. One clear subject with a distinct background works best.
Make sure you click the three dots and choose Depth Effect before you click add and finalize it.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I guess it just only works with very very very specific photos. I've tried a dozen or so that I think should have worked but none do. If it's this much trouble, it ain't worth it. Just like the new home screen icons can be placed "anywhere" they say. lol lol lol Yea, that works so well. So many things mounting up to start making me hate apple. Their only focus now is AI, which is gawd awful, by far the worst in existence of any tech company, and the furthest behind.....and I could care a less about it. Uggghhh, apple.

Thanks for your reply, at least I can just give up on it now. Apple and I just don't get along.
Awesome dog btw!

Why does Apple introduce these features when they have some restrictions. I would rather have the option not to tinge the text on the lockscreen with the background color.

Tap on the text and select a different color
