Is the MacBook Air Rev. A C2D 1.8GHz 64bit?

I just got a handy me down Macbook Air Rev. A Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz is it a 64bit processor? I am asking cuz I was using Trimmit to trip some applications and I was wondering which architecture to chose the i386 or the x86 64? I tried a couple and chose the 64Bit architecture but the apps I tried wouldn't start up, when I chose the i386 architecture they worked fine.

I thought the MBA used a version of Intel's Merom, isn't that 64Bit?

Running Snow leopard BTW.

Core 2 is 64-bit, yes, but not all applications are compiled for it.

Thanks! so when I use Trimmit which architecture should I keep? the i384 or the x86 64?
