I bought the MacBook Unibody almost as soon as it got on the market as my first Mac (yay) and I'm very happy with it so far.

The battery time I get from the MacBook could be longer though, so when I read about the new 13'' MacBook Pro which now comes with a "new and better" battery, the thought came to my mind that there might be a possibility that this new battery would fit in the MacBook Unibody...

I have looked on Apples website, I have googled and searched this forum but I have not found anything on the subject.

Is the thought for some reason obviously stupid?

Does anyone know anything about this?

The new battery is non-removable, the one for the UMB 13" is removable. The cases are designed differently between each notebook, you'll never get that battery in your MacBook.

To have it done, you would have to bring the 13" Pro to Apple (non-user replaceable battery) and they just would not let you do that.

You can try calibrating the battery. I have the same laptop and get 4 hours with Wireless ON.

Totally missed the "non-removable" part...

Thanks to all of You for the quick responses!
