I just got the Mackie PROFX8 and am using it on a rMBP with Mavericks and it works perfectly well with it. I know youre looking at a slightly different model is an amazing peice of kit. Built like a tank and the feel of the controls is satisfyingly smooth and tight.

Enjoy it when you get it!

Just about to buy one cheap and want to confirm it's good with Mavericks before I do.
I'm using Logic 9.1.8

How did you get on with the Onyx compatibility? I am about to purchase an Onyx 820i and I am running OSX 10.9.2

I've heard of some people having issues, does yours work OK?

You don't have any of the low volume output issues?

Just got the Onyx 820i for testing.... it works fine with OSX 10.9.2

Sound quality is good, no interference, no "low volume" issues. I plugged it into my mac and it was good to go.
