iPhone 11 Pro Is the main camera using the same wide sensor as the XS ? For the 11 Pro

So that means that there were zero changes from the iPhone XS to 11 Pro main cameras ?
The same exact lens / sensor and mm’s ?
I thought they were going to get bigger and better because they looked much bigger than the old ones.

The thing for me is the night mode I go out real early and this is a great upgrade. I wonder if they will roll out the night mode to older devices (hmmm)

It’s a new sensor bro the old one used half the sensors as Focus Pixels the new sensor has 100% Focus Pixels! To achieve this they basically had to rework the sensor itself!

Have to remember it’s a balance if you increase sensor size to large or small you can introduce noise

Large sensors have less noise in general. A DSLR sensor is huge and will take incredible pictures in very tough lighting. Phones rely a lot on post processing that is automatically done by the phone on the picture to mask the shortfalls. They only have so much room to fit this sensor in so it is to be expected.

The 11 and pro lenses and sensors are all the same. The pro got an additional telephoto lens. All the new phones got an improvement in the camera dept over the XS.
