I have looked through the threads, but most are a debate on MB vs. MBP and that's not my question, so here goes...

I will be mostly using the MB for Photoshop and Dreamweaver (CS3), internet, maybe some iPhoto browsing my pics. I also have an iMac and use an external drive to store my photos and other big files. When I need to have them with me, I will probably either take the external or put them on my 20GB Firefly so I don't really need the hard drive for storage. I can use the iMac to burn CDs so the ComboDrive versus SuperDrive isn't even that big of an issue. I will be bumping up to 2GB of RAM immediately. So, is the difference in the processor enough to justify the extra $200? Is there something else I'm not thinking of that I should consider?

I really really want to go get one today and CompUSA said if I do and if they do an upgrade on November 6th as some are predicting, I can either get a price adjustment to the reduced price on the older models or trade up for the new equivalent so that's not an issue. I don't want to wait for possible upgrades past November 6th so I might as well pull the trigger. Just need to decide which one I want (or rather which one best fits my needs, if I could, I'd just by an MBP and be done with it :D ).

Thanks for any info/advice you can offer!
