iPod touch Is the new 2.1 update stable??

I'm still on 1.1.4 because so many people went on and on when 2.0 came out that it wasn't good and that it caused things like more crashes, reduced battery life, etc. I just figured I was best to keep my iPod the way it was until the bugs were all worked out.

So is 2.1 a good option now? Has anyone noticed its more stable? any crashes?

since upgrading to 2.1 I suddenly can't access the internet
