Is the New Glossy Screen glossier than the old glossy?

Ok so I know not everyone has been able to see one in person.

But what do you think? I've never had a hands on experience with an iMac before so maybe some people who have can share their thoughts on this.

Is the glossy glass screen more reflective than than the previous glossy? Which is nicer in your subjective opinion?

In my experience, the glass is much more annoying than the standard gloss displays. I had an iMac right after they came out, and I couldn't stand the reflections coming from not only the screen but the whole area around the screen. Ended up sending it back because it also had a crap display behind the glass. Now I have a MBA with the standard glossy screen and it almost never bugs me in casual use.

thanks for sharing I asked because i'm debating the macbook air with SSD vs. the 2.4 macbook.

The screen is a big factor for me.

It's more or less the same. Unless you want more portability and no optical drive, the MacBook is the best laptop for you, IMHO.
