Hey,

im going to use the MBP for mostly for music production. Is the new MBP 15 2.3 powerful enough or is it worth it to buy the 2.7? Are there much difference?

Honestly, for most people the 2.3GHz should be fine. However, with music production, you might run into trouble with the limited 256GB SSD in the 2.3GHz model. Granted, you could always just attach an external hard drive but I'm not sure how mobile you'll need to be. I'm getting the 2.6GHz as the difference between the 2.6 and 2.7GHz will be minimal.

Thanks

Thank you for replies. Im definetly getting the Retina 15 with 16 Gb, the 234 SSD is not a problem i just want to know if there is much power difference in 2.3 and 2.6. Thats why i cant decide
