I need to know how soon after WWDC will the new MBP (retina/non-retina) be available for purchase.
Here's my situation:
I own a 2006 iMac, it has been a trustworthy companion for many years, but it doesn't run as smoothly as it did before, and the screen is dying. Right now it has 6 vertical lines of dead pixels, and working with it makes me lose my temper. As a college student, I could use something more portable than an iMac, and also something that won't freeze while I try to open Chrome.
So buying a new computer is kind of urgent, and my father is travelling to USA for 2 weeks, where he could buy a MBP somewhat cheaper than what you might find here.
Also, what accessories would you recommend for a new MBP? Case, sleeve, bag? Keyboard protectors, etc...
