Is the new stuffit broken?

I just downloaded the stuffit update and .sits no longer unload correctly. I've downloaded a bunch if icon packages from interfacelift and when I tried to unsuit them. The folders showed zero items, sometimes it would have the little link the the designers page but never the icons. And this has happened with 30+ .sit's. So I am certain that many files on interfacelift aren't corrupted, I've been downloading from there, forever.
