There is a decent deal on Blue series 6 44mm with blue sports strap for £379 at moment.

I said if I upgrade my S4 that I would get the Nike edition just for a change.

But what actually does the Nike have over the standard edition? Is it literally just watch faces? No changes to WatchOS or anything else?

Other maybe is that I could get Blue this time, but Nike only has the standard colours.

Have anyone always got the Nike, changed between them, and reasons why please.

Thanks

A decent deal? That's the RRP.

Nike has extra watch faces, and "Volt" available as a colour on most watch faces. That's pretty much the entire difference (aside from included band choice)

Sorry should have said that’s the 44mm Blue version.

Ok so just colours. No exclusive apps or anything?

No exclusive apps, just watch faces (with their own colours) and one exclusive colour available across the rest of them.

I've sworn by the nike versions since S2 (had a S2, S4 and S5) but the new watch faces in watchos 6 and watchos 7 have made me less and less attached to the nike variants or volt as a colourway.

What is the Volt?

Could you screenshot or point to the faces that Nike has over standard?

The straps used to be exclusive I think and not sold separately but you can do that now. I have the Nike sports pride one which I really like

Volt is a colour, you can see it above on the Nike Analog/Nike Digital faces (1st of each). It's also an additional colour option for regular faces like this:

I could be wrong but I think I heard that the Nike version has Nike+ Run Club preinstalled, or at least automatically installed when setting up the watch. Also that the Nike watch faces have special complications for it.

Though I guess you really can't call this a "difference" because NRC can be installed on the non-Nike version also.

Thanks for that, like some of those faces. Ridiculous really on WatchOS 7 that we can’t make totally our own by now tbh.

I probably would have bought the Nike with pride band and sell it on, but not sure if it’s worth the extra on this deal.

I probably would also get the solo band for a change, but that’s only available from Apple not resellers.
