W whdigital macrumors regular Jul 22, 2011 124 1 Jun 25, 2012 #4 FYI: The standard behind NTSC 1080p refers to vertical lines of resolution only. The HiRez cMBP is 1050 and therefore 30 lines fewer than the spec. However, it's quite close and 1080p content great on it.
