Hi all
I've upgrade from an Apple Watch S2 to the new S6. Now I still have two magnetic charging cables from the S2, are these compatible with S6?
Will I loose the fast charging capabilities of the S6 if I going to use the old charging cables?

Thank you

Yea it is compatible. I’m still using my S3 pucks. Just make sure they’re plugged into something that has enough power - at least 1amp.

Does the new puck enable the faster charging for the AW 6? I find that the new AW 6 with my charging puck from an AW 3 doesn't seem to charge even as fast as my prior AW 4 would.

Note that any 5W USB brick will provide 1amp.

Only thing to be cautious of would be a computer USB port that can't provide that amount of current.

Perhaps do some discrete measurements and see.

Per @BigMcGuire's measurements, the charging wattage for the S6 hits 3 watts. That's 0.6 amps at 5VDC. Contrast to the commonness of 2.1 to 2.4 amp USBA sources in multiport chargers.

While I've not done testing/measurements I find it improbable that an S3 generation puck would be unable to sustain that low of a charging rate.
