I'm making this thread because most of the comments I read online were comparing it to the ASD and its MSRP price. Which I understand, because if this was $1,500, I'd be buying the ASD. But I recently was able to get one for $352 from eBay, with a small cosmetic issue on top of the case. So not affecting the screen at all, and I get a 30 day return if I decide to return it or have any issues.

I feel like that's a steal? I haven't paid the seller yet, As I get a few days to pay. I'd like to know what you guys think? I would've made this sooner, but I didn't think I was going to bid on it and win. (Won it for $25 over my max bid)

I have a cheap LG 4K (LG 27UP650-W) Monitor and a LG 1440p 144hz (LG 27GL83A-B) monitor. I like to replace the 1440p monitor with this and maybe another one in the future on my new to me Mac Studio.

It is new for $999 on Amazon, refurbished for $749. So less than half that is fair for a used one. I doubt you could get a used Studio Display on eBay for that, but I haven’t looked.

Sounds like a 'steal' to me, if the seller is reputable and it's as advertised.

The lower end (price-wise) brand name 5K 27" display I'm aware of is the Asus that opened at roughly $800.

I wouldn't buy one at full price(or even the sale price), but for $350, it's kind of hard to pass up. The only determining factor is if it works properly.

I mean, there's usually a reason somebody sells something so expensive for so little (the old saying "if it's seems to good to be true, it usually is" comes into play).

Potential issues with the display may not show themselves after a few minutes, but once you use the display for a few hours, issues can pop up.

The reason I think it was cheaper because I was bidding on it. But apparently when moving it from warehouse to another one before shipping it. It got damaged. This seller has 99% feedback and offered me 10% off my next purchase. So I'm not mad. He said he gets pallets in of monitors but didn't see any in the next two pallets of this monitor, so he was very sorry. So it's whatever. I was salty at first.
