Hi, I'm about to buy a case for my iPad Air 4.

I'm looking at the smart folio by apple, but it doesn't look that safe...

The magnet thing kind of makes me worry it might fall off. Plus I feel the way that it doesn't protect the side of the iPad makes it look less protectable..

But all the other brand cases like esr or whatever doesn't look that much great in quality ? I never heard any of these brand.

Logitech's smart folio keyboard looks fine, but I don't want a keyboard.....

Any suggestions ?

I have the smart folio and it's pretty well stuck on there, doesn't really do much in terms of protection, if you dropped it for example, but I bought it more to stand the iPad up on my desk rather than protection.

I used one of those 10$ magnetic cases on amazon and cut off the front cover piece to make this mount for my car. It holds very strong not worried at all that it will fall.

Hi,

I was reading this as "does the magnets damage the SSD / HDD". ;)

Found this article - cool, one can simply stack the MacBook on top of the iPad on coffee tables etc 😀

2011 that was written.
magnets might have an effect on physical spinning drives. Drives In phones and tablets ssd not so much. Apple put magnets in their phones you think they would do that if it damages the hardware?
