Is the space grey on MacBook deeper that that on an iPhone 6+?

Is that just my personal feeling or is the grey indeed deeper? Any idea?

Seems darker. The silver one seems lighter and the gold one, more gold.

I'd say the Macbook is a touch darker, but definitely related in tone. I had to put the phone in a few different positions before I was sure, because the curve of the Macbook tends to show you a few different levels of light reflection, where the iPhone is extremely flat.

I prefer the grey of the Macbook. The iPhone doesn't seem that grey at all until it's next to a silver one.

I found it MUCH darker at least in store under Apples lighting. I have a iPhone 6 plus SG and the Wife has a silver 6 plus. They look pretty damn close if you didn't stare at it.

I found the MBR more "gunmetal" especially in contrast to the keyboard. Looks sleek. Wish the 6+ was that color!

yes, it is darker than the iPhone 6/6+...
but the rMB does match the space gray color of the iPad

Yes it is - the Space Grey on the iPhone 6/6+ is quite a bit lighter than the rMB.
