I'm just wondering if the superdrive in my PM G5 quad is connected via SATA or ATA. If it's SATA, can I remove the superdrive and temporarily place a HDD in there so that I can get all my cloning done and then replace the dual 500 GB HDDs with dual 1TB HDDs?

Thanks in advance for any responses/advice!

NEVERMIND!! I just looked in System Profiler and see that it's ATA.

It's IDE/PATA. I have the late G5. The SATA connectors are used for both hard drives.
