Please let me know. This is truly the deciding factor between the 13-inch and the 15-inch for me. I used both at the Apple Store and I noticed the words on the 15-inch were kind of small.

i notice the complete opposite...the 13'' was rather small and i couldnt really read it to save my life. but i think its perfect of the 15'' and i have fallen in love with mine since i got it

I had a problem reading text cause it looked fuzzy but after applying the color profile for my LCD, it is perfect now. The colors and text are clear and awesome.

Better look again. the 13" is 113 ppi and the 15" is 110 ppi. Means things are smaller on the 13".

Personally, I think everything is too big on those two and the 17" is the only decent resolution, but maybe that's just me.

Is that free? Color Profile?

And wouldnt the higher resolution on the 15-inch make things smaller

Text on MBP 15 is perfectly fine for me. I also own a white MB. The text is a bit smaller on it.

+1

Just what I was going to post. The MBP 13-inch made me squint like crazy.

Yep its free. Just do a search on the forum with your LCD Model and you'll find one that someone has put together.

I'm the kind of person who would rather have a 1440x900 on a 13" and a 1920x1200 on a 15". (Or even the 2048×1536 on the 15" like the R51 :D).

Text size is software-adjustable! For any text of equal size, the higher the pixel-density the screen, the less pixelized/clearer the text is.
Text on my 15.4" WUXGA is so clear that to go back to a lesser density screen would be like going back to a hard drive after using a SSD. :)

I am an older man, with bad eyes .... many times need reading glasses.

The 15" is actually quite pleasant for me to use WITHOUT glasses.

I may have trouble from time to time, but it's related to specific sites and their choice of font/size/color.

I use the zoom features on browsers quite liberally, but I do that on all computers. Websites suck at picking proper font sizes.
