Hi,

I am buying a second iMAC. Based on description, it is 2009 machine and the body is aluminum material. The screen is 24". Harddisk is 120G. The weird thing is that the CPU frequency is only 1.42GHz .

Based on my research, there isn't 1.42GHz CPU for 24" 2009 model iMAC. Did simply the seller type the wrong parameter? Or there is really 1.42GHz 2009 model iMAC?

The attached photo is from the advertisement website.

Please help me to clear my doubt.

Cheers,

There definitely isn't a 1.42GHz. In fact, there never has been a 1.42GHz iMac. That was only the G4 minis, eMacs and I believe powermac G4. If it's a 24" from 2009, the worst it could have is a 2.66GHz C2D.

Hi, alust2013,

Thanks for your clarification. Then it seems the seller didn't write parameter correctly.

Cheers,

Drop the seller an email or something. Tell him that he has written the wrong information and that you would like to know the REAL specs, preferably by seeing a screenshot or photo of the system profiler.
