I keep getting ads before I watch any video on youtube or pretty much anywhere. Does safari have adblocker to stop this? My macbook air is running 10.8.3. Thanks.

I suggest not signing onto youtube (delete keychain) b4r using it, and stay signed off from Google until u need it.

Anywhoo the occasional youtube ad I get, it lets you hit SKIP just a few seconds into it, no big deal.

Is there a reason why?

Premise that you signed on to Google, they know who you are, been keeping track of you all these time so they can spam you with targeted ads, that's THEIR BUSINESS.

No signon, hopefully that confuses enough of their servers to not spam you that much.
