Hi there,
Still new to this, so I may not even need what I'm about to ask for:
a little app that displays the battery charge. I realize I've got the little battery icon on my iPhone, but I was hoping I could click on this and get a bigger battery icon, that told me how much juice it still has. I don't think I can do this, so I was wondering about third-party apps.
Any advice?
thanks, malch

thanks cello. But I won't bother plugging it in if I've got an 85% charge.
I'd like to be able to see if I've got 25% charge left, or 95%, or whatever.
The kind of thing that SlimBattery Monitor and others have been doing for Mac powerbooks and MacBook Pros for a while now. Very handy.
Any other suggestions?
thanks,
malch

The only help i can really offer is the standard battery indicator will go red when it reaches 20% remaining (and the iphone will display a warning message) a good point at which to find power!

Not sure the SDK offers access to battery status..?

thanks Malcster... I'll keep an eye on the indicator... and keep an eye open for any third-party app, if and when one comes along...
I appreciate the tip, malch

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5B108 Safari/525.20)

There's a jailbreak app that changes the battery icon to a percentage indicator.
