Tweetie is pretty nice, although I'm sure you can google "Mac twitter clients" and get a list of them you can try out for yourself. Most of them are free.

I was using Tweetie for a long time but recently switched since it hadn't been updated in a long time and is missing a lot of features other twitter clients now have. I tried out the beta of Weet, that has some potential. Lately I've been using Kiwi, considering paying the $10 to remove the ads.

I've been using Kiwi recently (I'd used Echofon and Tweetie before) and like it a lot. Definitely worth a look, IMHO.
