I recently bought a base model 15" 2019 MacBook Pro 2.6/16/256/6-core

When I bought it, I didn't know I was also buying speakers that made it unnecessary to buy any other speakers, as they are phenomenal.

I'm wondering if the 13" 2019 MacBook Pro speakers are of the same caliber?

There are Youtube videos out there, comparing the speakers of both 13 and 15" model. Their conclusion is, while the recently updated 13" MBP is of great value, its speakers are inferior to those of 13" with 4 USB-C ports, not to mention 15" model.

Glad you like the speakers of your machine. Enjoy :)

Thanks! I’ll have to check it out. I didn’t know there was difference even between 13” models. That’s crazy

By the way, how would you compare the speakers of your current machine with your previous 2013 13" rMBP?

Mine is 2015 13", so I think your previous machine would have similar speakers with mine.

The 15” is much richer, deeper, and the base is much better.

Honestly it’s like comparing someone banging on a tin can to listening to a live orchestra in a music hall haha :)
