So, I used to be a caffeine addict and it was really hard to quit but I did it.

I've been drinking again, but not regularly.

I guess I'm used to drinking a lot, so today I had what my "normal" used to be and it's hitting pretty hard.

Racing thoughts, can't focus, definitely too much

Is there a caffeine antidote?

Black tea with milk.

I quit coffee going from two-three cups every day to coffee on occasion. Be sure to get a solid kind of earl black that tastes delicious. Rich milk (half and half) or goat milk. Within two days you won’t miss coffee.

@Hieveryone You have to just let it pass. How much did you have (in mg – or what did you consume)?

What matters is consistent daily consumption and not varying that amount much daily. It's going to be hard on you if you have much higher than normal one day.

If you continue to have caffeine regularly, grab this and you'll end up with solid and hard data to know what you're consuming and how you feel after: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/caffeine-app-track-caffeine/id1045959983. Plus you'll get a clear warning when you're having too much.

And here I am thinking why the OP opens yet another pointless topic about coffee although he already had a discussion similar where this was discussed.

Try meditating and don’t drink coffee if you think it messes with you.
